Can’t believe it has been more than a week and I haven’t been able to write a new post! I can make a million excuses – too much housework, keeping my sons busy, my laptop was under repair….blah ….blah …blah. But the truth is that I just haven’t been charged up about anything significant to write about and honestly I did have more than enough quiet moments to sit and write…in fact I would say one too many.
Normally in the hustle bustle of the day with my hands doing ten different things at a time or in the middle of my jog, my mind would suddenly be inundated with ideas….so many thoughts that I would want to share….so many feelings, past experiences and in my mind I would already start writing my blog. But I still have to wait for the whole day to pass, put the kids to bed and then rush to the laptop to start writing and drain out my clogged up mind. If I get the chance I also start writing on my smart phone which has a nice
blogger.com app though I still prefer the laptop for its ease of use.
Having gone through last week which was quite frustrating, I have come to the conclusion that to be an effective blogger I should just keep myself busy, ‘super’ busy as my little boy would say. As only with an overworked mind do my ideas flow. Quite weird I know but that’s just how it is. I hope I am wrong though as I don’t always like to be all ‘helter -skelter’ busy but meanwhile I am looking forward to the coming week, trying to fill it up with as many coffee dates, playdates and activities possible…after all I have a job to do ๐

hey Mehroo.. don't stress about this.. all writers face a block at some point of time.. trick is, that when you are feeling creatively charged up, write out half a dozen pieces and keep them as 'back up'.. that way you will always be regular.. even TIME magazine does it, thats how every now and then we get a cover on some random science topic about the brain or outer space ! Keep on writing…
